  •

If you or your children are taking piano lessons, keeping your piano in tune and in good repair is vital to successful playing. Studies show that children who have an instrument that works well and is in tune enjoy playing and stay with lessons much longer than students who struggle with instruments in disrepair. Also, if your piano is not up to concert pitch, you could very well learn to sing flat and off-key, so remember to keep your piano in tune!

Facts about Piano Service:
  • Pianos need to be tuned at minimum every six months.
  • New pianos need to be tuned 4 times a year due to new strings stretching.
  • Pianos that haven't been tuned on a regular basis will need one or more pitch corrections before fine tuning.
  • Humidity and temperature changes affect your piano's ability to stay in tune.
  • Regular maintenance keeps your piano working properly, which enables it to hold it's resale value.

Piano services are available for St Louis, St Charles, Lincoln and Warren counties. Shannon is an associate member of the Piano Technician's Guild.
